Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies Virtual Food Drive

WMA Virtual Food Drive

The Wyoming Mining Association in partnership with the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies is hosting a virtual food drive to help the miners and their families affected by the Blackjewel shutdown and layoffs.

The Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies can provide four meals or five pounds of food for just a dollar. Even a small donation can make a difference.

Funds are directed to Fighting Hunger Feeding Hope in the Greater Campbell County Area for the families of miners affected by the Blackjewel layoffs.

Two mobile pantries are currently scheduled to be in Gillette on Monday, July 29 and Monday, August 19 with distribution to the public to start at 1:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. The mobile pantries will be at the Family Life Church parking lot. There will be enough food available for 700 families.

We are asking for your help. Please consider a contribution to help our fellow miners, friends and neighbors in Gillette during this tough time.

Click the Donate Now button to make your gift.

Thank you for your support. Stay Strong Gillette.
